My pieces reflect what I consider the in-between state, it is thought that when expectant mothers suffer from stress, anxiety, and depression it is passed down to the fetus. These narratives are stories of rebirth where I draw my mother in nests symbolic of the uterus in vulnerable fetal-like positions.

The skeleton of a snake in this print is a symbol of healing and transformation. The marigolds are used in the Mexican tradition of Día de Los Muertos to illuminate the path back home to the departed. They meant to call back the lineage of great-grandmothers and their blessings.

La luz divina y la manzana prohibida, is a reminder of the inner light that never dims. Regardless of the woman's guarded position, the sunflowers have mistaken her inner light for the rays of the sun. The apples are symbolic of knowledge and the guilt and burden of Eve.
